RSS-affiliate suggests four options for conducting Class 12 board exams

CISCE asks schools to collate Class 12 students’ marks in internal assessment
The CICSE board has asked its affiliated schools to submit an average of marks obtained by class 12 students in class 11 and during this session. While there is no clarity from the board whether the exercise hints at the possible cancellation of exams, schools have already started working to meet the June 7 deadline set by the board.
Duration of UP Board Class 12 exams reduced
UP board will follow the second option suggested by the CBSE in the high-level meeting with Union Minister of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal and secretaries of other states/UTs. The UP board class 12 exams will be conducted in 1.5 hours exam duration instead of 3 hours.

The CBSE has already cancelled Class 10 Board exams and announced an alternative marking policy. There is a broad consensus among states about conducting class 12 Board exams and an “informed, collaborative” decision will be taken by June 1, the minister had said recently.
