IGP, Kashmir Zone, V.K Birdhi Visits Bandipora To Review Security Arrangements

Srinagar, Dec 9 (KS): Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, V.K Birdhi on Saturday visited Bandipora district to review security arrangements in the north Kashmir district.
Talking to media persons, as per news agency Kashmir Scroll, Birdhi said that soon after taking charge as IG, he has been visiting every district one by one and accordingly visited Bandipora today.
“The aim (of the visit) was to check the preparations of the Bandipora police and what refinements are required on crime front, anti-terror operations and other allied fronts”, Birdhi said.
“The District Police higher-ups were directed to look for measures which can be implemented for the purpose of better dispensation of the duties of the police personnel”, Birdhi further said. (KS)
