Srinagar, Aug 13 (KB): An exchange of fire broke out between suspected terrorists and security forces in the Patnitop area of Udhampur, the Army said here.
Sharing details on social media’s X handle, as per the Kashmir Bulletin (KB), the Army’s White Knight Corps wrote that, based on specific intelligence inputs, a joint operation by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police was launched, and contact was established with the terrorists.
“Based on specific intelligence inputs, a joint operation by #IndianArmy and #JKP was launched in Akar Forest near Patnitop. Contact has been established with the terrorists, and operations are in progress,” reads the tweet.—(KB)
