Srinagar, 12 Jan (CNI):During the harsh winter unscheduled power cuts irk Hoteliers and tourists at tourist spot pahalgam, and are raising voice against PDD for frequent unscheduled power cuts in the area.
According to reports reaching news agency-Current News Of India (CNI), the Hoteliers and locals raised voice against the the PDD, adding that they did not bother about the sufferings of common people and tourists, they have made our life miserable in these days of harsh winter.
Another hotelier told CNI that instead of ensuring regular power supply, the Power Development Department is resorting to forced cuts, We are witnessing repeated power cuts, both in the mornings and evenings.
The hoteliers said that We have approached higher authorities many times but nothing was done on ground level till yet.
Meanwhile hoteliers and locals of tourist spot pahalgam appealed Governor J&K, Chief Engineer PDD and concerned Deputy Commissioner Anantnag to kindly intervene into the matter and redress the genuine problem as soon as possible so that people and tourists of area can feel some sort of relief during this harsh winter.(CNI)
