NEET-UG-2025 Exam Scheduled for May 4: NTA
Srinagar, Feb 07 (JKNS): The national testing agency on friday announced that NEET (UG)-2025 will be held on May 4, 2025, while online submissions for examination form will commence from 7th February.
As per a notification issued by director examination of National testing agency NTA a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS reads, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting Online Applications for NEET (UG)-2025 for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions in India.
Notive further reads, as per Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, the NEET (UG) has to be conducted as common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET (UG)) for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions. The NEET (UG)-2025 scores and merit list will also apply for admissions to BDS and BVSe & AH courses followed in the past in accordance with the rules governed by respective regulatory bodies. Similarly, as per Section 14 of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020, there shall be a uniform NEET (UG) for admission to undergraduate courses in cach of the disciplines i.e. BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS courses of the Indian System of Medicine in all Medical Institutions governed under this Act. NEET (UG) shall also be applicable to admission to the BHMS course under the National Commission for Homeopathy, it reads.
MNS (Military Nursing Service) aspirants seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing Courses being conducted at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals for the year 2025 are required to qualify for NEET (UG). The NEET (UG) score will be used for shortlisting for selection to the four-year B.Sc. Nursing course, it reads.
The exam will be held on 04th May 2025 and the duration of the examination will be 180 minutes (03 hours) from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM (IST). The NEET (UG)-2025 will be conducted in 13 languages ie. Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu, reads the notice.
Notice further reads that online submissions of examination forms will commence on 7 February to while the last date will be on 7 march 2025. (JKNS)
