Srinagar, 28 April (KB): Shab e-Qadr also known as the Night of Power and Blessings is considered to be the holiest night of the year for Muslims and marks the night that the first verses of the Holy Qur’an were revealed to the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).
AAP Spokesperson as per a statement to Kashmir Bulletin–(KB), said that the prayer of this one night has been described as more than the worship of a thousand months.
“Unlike Eid ul-Fitr or Eid al-Adha, Shab-e-Qadr is not a festival that warrants special wishes or is proven by Hadith to extend any kind of wishes, hence, Members of Aam Admi Party, Kashmir, pray to the Almighty for mercy, blessing, benefit, pardon, and forgiveness and most importantly health and peace to descend upon the people of the earth and especially Kashmir on this occasion,” they said.
