The Airports Authority of India (AAI), a statutory body under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, has announced a significant recruitment drive for 2025, aiming to fill 224 vacancies across various positions. AAI is inviting applications for the following positions:
- Senior Assistant (Official Language) – NE-6 Level
- Senior Assistant (Accounts) – NE-6 Level
- Senior Assistant (Electronics) – NE-6 Level
- Junior Assistant (Fire Service) – NE-4 Level
A total of 224 vacancies are distributed among these roles, offering a substantial opportunity for eligible candidates to join the organization.
Eligibility Criteria
Prospective applicants must meet specific educational and experience requirements tailored to each position:
- Senior Assistant (Official Language) – NE-6 Level
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the graduation level, or vice versa.
- Alternatively, a master’s degree in any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory or optional subjects at the graduation level.
- Experience:
- Two years of relevant experience in the concerned discipline.
- Additional Requirement:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Hindi).
- Educational Qualification:
- Senior Assistant (Accounts) – NE-6 Level
- Educational Qualification:
- Graduate degree, preferably B.Com.
- Experience:
- Two years of relevant experience in the concerned discipline.
- Additional Requirement:
- Proficiency in MS Office.

- Senior Assistant (Electronics) – NE-6 Level
- Educational Qualification:
- Diploma in Electronics, Telecommunication, or Radio Engineering.
- Experience:
- Two years of relevant experience in the concerned discipline.
- Educational Qualification:
- Junior Assistant (Fire Service) – NE-4 Level
- Educational Qualification:
- 10th Pass with a three-year approved regular Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or Fire.
- Alternatively, 12th Pass (Regular Study).

Age Limit
The upper age limit for all positions is 30 years. Age relaxations may apply as per government norms for reserved categories.
Remuneration
Selected candidates will receive competitive salaries under the Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) pattern:
- Senior Assistant (NE-6 Level): Pay scale of ₹36,000 – 3% – ₹1,10,000.
- Junior Assistant (NE-4 Level): Pay scale of ₹31,000 – 3% – ₹92,000.
In addition to the basic pay, employees are entitled to Dearness Allowance, 35% perks of basic pay, House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other benefits such as Contributory Provident Fund (CPF), Gratuity, Social Security Schemes, and Medical benefits, as per AAI rules.
Selection Process
The selection procedure varies by position and includes the following stages:
- Senior Assistant (Official Language)
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Duration: 2 hours.
- Computer Literacy Test in MS Office (Hindi) – Qualifying in nature.
- Document Verification.
- Senior Assistant (Accounts)
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Duration: 2 hours.
- Computer Literacy Test in MS Office – Qualifying in nature.
- Document Verification.
- Senior Assistant (Electronics)
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Duration: 2 hours.
- Document Verification.
- Appointment is subject to successful completion of 12 weeks of Ab-Initio Training and 4 weeks of On-the-Job Training (OJT). During training, a stipend of ₹25,000 per month is provided.
- Junior Assistant (Fire Service)
- Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT) – Duration: 2 hours.
- Stage 2:
- Biometric Attendance.
- Document and Certificate Verification, including Driving License.
- Physical Measurement and Medical Test.
- Driving Test (Light Motor Vehicle) – Candidates must possess a valid Light, Medium, or Heavy Motor Vehicle license.
- Physical Endurance Tests (PET).
Application Fee
- General, EWS, and OBC Candidates: ₹1,000.
- Exemptions: SC, ST, PWD, Ex-Servicemen, Apprentices who have completed one year of Apprenticeship Training in AAI, and Women candidates are exempted from the application fee.
The fee is payable online via net banking, credit/debit cards, UPI, or wallet. Please note that the fee is non-refundable.
