Army major commits suicide in Tangdhar sector
Kupwara, Jan 18 (KNO) An Army Major allegedly committed suicide on Monday at a forward post in Tangdhar sector in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A senior official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that an Army Major posted in forward post in Tangdhar sector has committed suicide. He said that the reason behind the suicide was not known immediately.
A senior police officer while confirming the incident, said that a police party has rushed to the spot and more details will be shared accordingly.
“We have learnt about the suicide of an Army Major in a forward area and the police team is on its way to gather the details,” he said—(KNO)
