Bhaderwah: Situation Eases, Mobile Internet Connectivity Restored
Srinagar, Apr 07 (KB): After days of protests over posting of objectionable content on social media, situation in Bhaderwah has significantly eased. Reciprocating to the development, authorities have restored internet connectivity in the town.
As learnt by news agency Kashmir Bulletin, the shops and other business establishments opened after days of closure in aftermath of discontent by Muslim community over posting of objectionable content by an individual creating disharmony in the region.
“The law enforcement agencies have actively worked to restore the peace and calm and the situation has eased to a greater extent now,” said an official.
Reciprocating to the ease in situation, the authorities directed internet service providers to restore the services, which was complied with and the services restored to their normal.
Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies, especially Police, have reiterated their appeal asking public to maintain law and order and be cautious about any mischievous element harming the prevailing harmony in the region. (KB)
