Blasphemous Remarks against Holy Prophet (PBUH); Mufti-Azam-Kashmir Nasir-ul-Islam Condemns; demands Stern Action Against the Culprit
Srinagar, 5 Oct (KB): Mufti Azam Kashmir, Nasir Ul Islam has strongly condemned the derogatory remarks made by Narasighanand Saraswati, a Hindu fanatic from Meerut, against Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Mufti Nasir Ul Islam, in a statement issued here to news agency Kashmir Bulletin reads that such comments are unacceptable, harmful, insulting, and disrespectful, causing distress to millions of Muslims worldwide.
He stressed that India, being a secular country, cannot tolerate defamatory remarks against any religion, as they disrupt peace, harmony, and amity among people of different faiths.
Mufti Nasir Ul Islam demanded stern action against the culprit to prevent others from indulging in similar violent behavior, it reads.
