AISF Demands Probe, to Unearth Conspiracy, Strict Action Against Culprits.

Doda 13-10-2021: All India Student Fedration(AISF) expresses deep resentment over the Non-Functional Sub-office of J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages for the last more than three years. The Sub-office is headless for the last three years as the Cultural Officer manages his attachment in the central office of the Academy. More over the said Cultural Officer has no idea of the multi faceted culture of Chenab valley.
With no immediate boss other officials do not attend their duties for months together. It is a travesty that 4th Class employees remains absent from duty for months and months. It has reliably been learnt that the officials on unauthorized absence pay a fixed amount to the absentee Cultural Officer in Lieu of release of their monthly salary.
The objective with which Academy’s Sub-office Doda was created has got defeated as no programs are organized by the Sub-office. Artists and Poets of Chenab Valley are being denied the opportunity of sharing a platform due to callous attitude of the Cultural Officer and other officials.
Whereas the Govt has taken steps to weed out Deadwood from Govt establishment, it is surprising that officials of defunct Sub-office Doda of J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages patronized and encouraged by the higher ups to remain absent for months together and ignore their legitimate duties.
It is worthwhile to mention that J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages is under the direct control of the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor J&K UT and an IAS officer is presently holding the charge of its Secretary, but the blue eyed boys of Doda Sub-office continues to play truancy thereby making the Sub-office a defunct unit.
Deputy Commissioner Doda has also reportedly paid a surprise visit to the Sub-office and has seized the attendance register, but till date no action has beend initiated against the erring officials.
There seems to be a conspiracy to shift the Sub-office from Doda and the chief conspirators is none other than the present Cultural Officer.
Today on 13-10-2021 the members of All India Student Fedration visited Academy’s Sub Office Doda but as usual the office was locked and none officer and official were present in the office.
All India Student Federation appeals to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor to order a probe into the whole gamut of things which has led to the paralysis of a hitherto vibrant organization over the last three years. This is important as the objective of promotion and preservation of culture is not being pursued by the officials posted in Sub-office Doda.
