DSEK, CEO Srinagar organized International Mother Language Day in Srinagar
We need to preserve our rich heritage and cultur : Director Education
Srinagar, 22 Feb (KB): Director of School Education Kashmir and Chief Education Officer Srinagar today organized International Mother Language Day at Girls Higher Secondary School Kothibagh Srinagar
In a statement issued to Kashmir Bulletin (KB) states that in this regard a colorful function was organized at Girls Higher Secondary school Kothibagh Srinagar in which Director School Education Kashmir Mohammad Younis Malik was the Chief Guest. The function was attended by renowned social activist and poet Zareef Ahmad Zareef, renowned broadcaster and comedian Talha Jehangir, ZEOs and Principals of Srinagar district with a good number of school children. On this occasion students who got first position in Kala Utsav event at National level were felicitated. Speakers on this occasion highlighted the importance of mother language especially in the context of new National Educational Policy 2020. 
Speaking on the occasion, Director School Education said that mother language should be promoted in all walks of life. He said that we need to preserve our rich heritage and culture—(Kashmir Bulletin)
