Free Medical Cum Awareness Camp organized by Ayush

Srinagar, Jan 12: Assistant District Medical Officer (Ayush) Srinagar on Tuesday organized a free medical camp in ISM UD Lal Bazar area of Srinagar district within which patients of various ailments were treated and got free medicines and immune booster. The medical camp provided free medical advice and medicines to the locals and also advised the chronic patients for specialised treatment.
Doctors namely Dr. Seema Mustafa, Dr Rehana, Dr, Rohi Tabasum and Dr Masrat examined patients and provided them free medicines and immune booster among 147 patients. Except medical service, locals were educated about COVID-19, its prevention and DO’s & Don’t regarding precaution against the pandemic.
During the camp, locals were also briefed if they have subsequent treatment they’ll visit the unit hospital for further advice. Meanwhile the response of the local population was overwhelming and that they were happy that their medical well-being is taken care of despite the spread of COVID-19.
