Srinagar, 21 Feb (KB): Most of the Jio Mobile internet connections are down in Batwara area of central Kashmir’s district Srinagar.
The residents that avail the services of Jio mobile internet are facing lot of inconvenience as nobody from Jio staff is paying heed to the complaints registered by the residents.
Jio company is claiming to offer fastest mobile internet connections to subscribers but it has completely collapsed in the area.
According to Kashmir Bulletin (KB) it’s not only the Batwara area where Jio mobile internet is down but there are numerous areas where subscribers are facing problem due to connection problem.
“We registered a lot of complaints but despite that nothing was done,” a local resident told Kashmir Bulletin.
Another local resident namely Umais Qadir told Kashmir Bulletin that, ‘‘Inspite of paying high charges for fourth generation (4G) services, subscribers complain that they neither receive the 4G network signal (often enough) nor the desired download speed. So much so that it is getting difficult to even download a photo on WhatsApp or files from your email account’’, he said.
Many more residents from area said that we are facing lot of problems due to Low internet speed, we have not seen 1MBPS Speed from last 2 years, this is 4g for full kashmir but for us it is 0 g, as we have only 60 to 70 KBPS speed—(Kashmir Bulletin)
