JKBOSE Announces Major Update for Higher Secondary Students – Get the Inside Scoop!
Srinagar, December 29: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued a circular regarding the updation of subjects, photographs and signatures of Class 11 students for the current academic session 2023-24.
The board has directed all district and tehsil heads to furnish the list of candidates from their respective schools and institutions for this purpose. The lists, in both soft and hard copy formats, need to be submitted as per the prescribed annexures along with a token fine of Rs. 200 per candidate.
The required information needs to reach the offices of the Assistant Secretary ITSS, Kashmir Division for Kashmir-based candidates (including Kargil district) and Assistant Secretary ITSS, Jammu Division for Jammu-based candidates (including Leh district) on or before January 4, 2024.
The updation exercise is aimed at maintaining accurate records of Class 11 students enrolled under JKBOSE for the 2023-24 academic year across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Schools and institutions have been advised to comply with the submission guidelines and deadline set by the board to ensure smooth completion of the process.
