Kupwara, June 15: In an effort to continue guiding and supporting the young boys and men of Kupwara, 160 TA distributed volleyball sports equipment to youngsters from Muqam Dolipora in Kupwara.
Mr Iqbal Masoodi from ‘Serving Nation NGO (Kupwara)’, participated in the distribution and applauded 160 TA for always supporting the residents of Kupwara, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown.
The Indian Army is committed to promote positivity, team spirit and steer the youth away from violence and negative influences.
Col Swaraj Bhattacharya, CO 160 Inf Bn (TA) (H&H), assured support in the future to the team for organizing volleyball sporting events and competitions and re-iterated the importance of sports in creating a positive environment to harness the sporting talent in the valley.
