LOLAB LIONS CONDUCT BICYCLE RALLY FOR COVID AWARENESS AND FIT INDIA CAMPAIGN
Kupwara, June 02: On the eve of World Bicycle Day celebrated every year on 3 June, Lolab Lions carried out a bicycle rally which gave the dual message of benefits of riding bicycle and COVID awareness.
The bicycle is a symbol of sustainable transport and conveys a positive message to foster sustainable consumption and production, and has a positive impact on climate. The rally was conducted from Gujjarpatti to Model Village, Chandigam.
The event saw huge enthusiasm from locals and about 45 participants from NCC, Guides and scouts, school students and civil volunteers from different fields including teachers, NGO workers and Sarpanches participated in the event.
The participants gave out the message of riding bicycles for sustenable economic development and to follow COVID Protocols to check the spread of pandemic and physical fitness.
