Shopian, Aug 24 (KB): A marriage function turned into mourning as the groom was attacked with a sharp-edged weapon in South Kashmir’s Shopian on Saturday, officials said.
An official told the news agency Kashmir Bulletin (KB) that a marriage function turned into mourning in Shopian as the groom was attacked with a sharp-edged knife on Saturday late evening.
He added that the groom was later identified as Mubashir Ahmad Naikoo, son of Bashir Ahmad Naikoo, a resident of Rakhama, Shopian.
