Police Files Case Over Bomb Hoax At Jammu School

Srinagar, Dec 6 (GNS): Jammu and Kashmir Police have filed a case into a bomb hoax at an educational institution in Jammu.

Informed about an alleged call made by an unknown person claiming to have planted a bomb inside an educational institution, security forces and BDS’ reached site at Residency road Jammu this morning.

However the threat later turned out to be a hoax, the Police informed through micro-blogging site ‘X’.

Taking a cognisance of the hoax call, the Police said they have filed a case in this regard for further investigations.

“Jammu Police acted swiftly on bomb threat by an unknown caller to one private school. Police conducted extensive search and sanitised area. The threat turned out to be hoax and FIR has been registered,” police wrote on ‘X’. (GNS)
