RRC Recruitment 2025: Apply for 2258 Apprentice Posts – 10th Pass Eligible
The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has announced a major recruitment drive for 2,258 apprentice posts in the North Eastern Railway (NER) and East Central Railway (ECR). Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online via the official website apprentice.rrcner.net.

- North Eastern Railway (NER): 1,104 Posts
- East Central Railway (ECR): 1,154 Posts

- Application Start Date: January 25, 2025
- Last Date for NER Applications: February 23, 2025
- Last Date for ECR Applications: February 14, 2025
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed 10th (SSC/Matriculation) with at least 50% marks OR
- Must hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT recognized by the Government of India.
- Age Limit:
- Minimum age: 15 years
- Maximum age: 24 years
Application Fee:
- ₹100/- for General/OBC candidates
- No Fee for SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates
- Payment modes: Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking
Selection Process:
- Candidates will be selected based on a merit list, prepared using marks obtained in:
- Matriculation (10th Class) – Minimum 50% marks required
- ITI Examination – Equal weightage given to both
