Srinagar:- The team Voice of Youth visited the Wall of Kindness which was recently opened at Rainawari Old City (Downtown) Srinagar and donated food packets which includes daily essential stock such as Rice, Wheat, Chilli, Haldi, Salt etc and clothes for poor and needy people under the chairmanship of Mir Khubaib.
While talking to us, Chairman Voice of Youth Mir Khubaib said that it is the duty of each and every citizen of nation to contribute towards the society and help the needy persons in our society. The concept of Wall of Kindness is a great one and it should be widely started in every mohalla/locality in our Kashmir valley. The Masjid Committees should come forward for this noble cause and must continue this tremendous concept Wall of Kindness in there respective areas, so that the livelihood of needy persons will be benefited through it.

Our team are just performing the duty and responsibility towards the society by contributing as much as we can do for the betterment of our society, a small contribution can bring a huge change and it can make a person smile who is in need, said Mir.

Mir Khubaib also said that if we talk in our religious capacity, our Islam also teaches us that Giving charity is the proof of faith, as those who are close to God are always seeking his love through giving. The messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “Sadaqah is a proof.” (Narrated by Muslim in hadith no. 223). “It means the proof or evidence of the true faith the giver possesses. Hence Sadaqa is termed likewise, because it is the proof of the truth of his faith.
The other core members of Voice of Youth during the donation drive were present as well which includes Hameem Kapra, Adv Mir Salman, Malik Zaid, Ateeb Hassan and Sheikh Wasif.
