Four people have been killed as massive fire engulfs forests and villages in southern Turkey. Officials said that the fire erupted on Wednesday in tourist hotspot Antalya, burning houses and hotels across the region, and rendering thousands homeless. Massive firefighting operations are underway in the region with Turkish government pressing helicopters into action. Turkey president Recap Tayyip Erdogan has termed the fire as arson and hinted at the hand of Kurd separatists. At least five arrests have been made by the Turkish security agencies in connection with the deadly blaze.
