Srinagar 19th june: During pandemic, to aware students about immunity enhancement through Ayurvedic Regimen a webinar was organized by Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh. Dr. Rita Behl, Senior Diet & Lifestyle Consultant, Founder, Ayurvedic Avataran, Mohali interacted with the Aryans students of Nursing, Pharmacy, Law, Engineering, Management, B.Ed and Agriculture. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the event.

Dr. Behl while interacting with students said that Ayurveda blends our modern lifestyle with the ancient wisdom of using natural substances, medicines and herbs to help us lead a healthy, happy, stress-free and disease-free life. 
This discipline is unique amongst the healthcare disciplines in the World as it places an emphasis on removing the causes of disease and suffering, she discussed.
She further said that Ayurveda accounts for a complete harmony of human body with the elements of nature for a stress free and healthy life. It treats root causes of disease, not just symptoms. Ayurveda takes into account the complete ecosystem of a person’s life including tastes, scents, sounds, touch, sights and uses the qualities in foods, herbs, and lifestyle as medicine, added Behl.
 
While answering students questions she told that the science uses a combination of nutrition, lifestyle habits, herbs, body therapies, spiritual counseling, among other therapies to heal each unique individual on a deeper level. Knowledge of Ayurveda enables one to understand how to create this balance of body, mind and consciousness according to one’s own individual constitution and how to make lifestyle changes to bring about and maintain this balance, she stressed.
