All Educational Institutes to Remain Shut in Kishtwar, Gurez

Srinagar, Mar 15 (KB): Amid incessant rains, authorities have ordered for shutting down of all educational institutions in Kishtwar district, and Gurez area in Bandipora district.

As learnt by news agency Kashmir Bulletin, the measure has been taken to ensure safety of the students and educational staffers.

Earlier, the district administration Ramban also ordered for closure of all government and private schools for the day.

The decision to close the educational institutions comes as rains continue to lash Jammu and Kashmir over last several days, exposing the people to threat of floods and landslides. (KB)
