Srinagar, Feb 26 (KB): The Srinagar Police has welcomed Sh. Amit Verma, JKPS as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) for the West Zone of District Srinagar. The 2008 Batch officer joined his new role on Sunday , February 26, 2023.
The appointment of Sh. Amit Verma, JKPS as the new SP has been welcomed by the Srinagar Police, who expressed their confidence in his ability to handle the responsibilities of the post. “As the head of the West Zone, Sh. Verma will be responsible for maintaining law and order in the area, as well as ensuring the safety and security of the residents,” Srinagar police said as per Kashmir Bulletin (KB).
“Sh. Verma has a wealth of experience in the field of policing, having served in various capacities over the course of his career. He is known for his dedication to duty and his commitment to upholding the law, qualities that are sure to serve him well in his new role.”
