Srinagar, Sep 19 (KB): The Jammu and Kashmir Government is likely to continue with October- November session for lower classes this year and final decision is likely within 4-5 days.
Sources in the department of education told Kashmir Bulletin–(KB) that, exams for lower classes are likely to be held in October-November this year, adding that uniform accademic calender is set to be followed by lower classes from next year.
“Discussion at the administrative level is going on about the conduct of annual exams of lower classes,” sources said.
“Adding that, final decision about the issue will come within 4-5 days, they said.”
However sources in Directorate of School Education Kashmir Told Kashmir Bulletin–(KB) that, DSEK have submitted a proposal to Government and have suggested to hold exams for lower classes in October-November for current year.
They further said that, all classes will follow uniform accademic calender from next year, sources added.
It is pertinent to mention that, J&K government earlier ordered shifting of Board exam session to March for class 10th to 12th. (Kashmir Bulletin — KB)
