ARMY ORGANISES INTER SCHOOL DEBATE COMPETITION FOR STUDENTS OF LOLAB
Increasing Suicide Cases in Kashmir and Remedial Measures

Kupwara, June 29:Debate helps the students in gaining broad, multi-faceted knowledge cutting across various disciplines outside their subjects. It helps forming critical thinking skills, increased retention of information and speech delivery.
Carrying forward the Student and youth development Programme, a Debate Competition on topic ‘Increasing Suicide cases in J&K and Remedial Measures’ was organised by Army at Krusan, Lolab.
Total Sixteen participants including girl students took part and exhibited their talent from Six Schools in Lolab, Kupwara. The event reflected confidence and enthusiasm of the students.
The students got motivated and spoke with confidence on the topic in which proved once again that given an opportunity, student are able to showcase their inherent talent and skill. This event has inspired other students and youth in the area thus promoting a positive outlook among next generation.
The event was concluded by the experts like Doctors and Teachers present during the competition who with their experience and knowledge on the subject guided the students on the important topic.
