Hundreds of teachers participate in the online training session
Kupwara, Jammu & Kashmir, 31 August, 2021: Sri Aurobindo Society and Chief Education Office – Kupwara collectively organized a special webinar for the teachers of Kupwara, Jammu & Kashmir to orient them about the National Education Policy – 2020 and to guide them in effective implementation of the new policy. Mr. Abdul Hamid Fani, Chief Education Officer, Kupwara, Jammu & Kashmir (U.T) graced the webinar as the chief guest. Mr. Ashok Sharma, National Training Head, Rupantar, Sri Aurobindo Society was the special guest in the online session. Hundreds of teachers from Kupwara district showed their active participation in this webinar via the social media platforms, shared their views and enriched themselves with the National Education Policy 2020.
Addressing the viewers, the Mr. Abdul Hamid Fani, Chief Education Officer, Kupwara, Jammu & Kashmir (U.T) threw light on the effectiveness, impact and future of the National Education Policy-2020. “The new education policy has been designed while keeping in mind the relevance of the present times and it is sure to bring about massive positive transformation in the education system of our country. This policy lays emphasis on the holistic development of the students. It promotes vocational education, personality building and creating a well-educated society that is empathetic and civilized. Teachers are building blocks of the country and only proactive & dedicated teachers can vow for creating a well-established India. We are hopeful that this webinar will help teachers to assimilate, absorb, understand and implement this new education policy on the ground level.” Urging the teachers to participate actively in the webinar, Mr. Fani also thanked Sri Aurobindo Society for organizing the NEP orientation session for the teachers of Kupwara district. He also appreciated and showed the support to the initiatives of Sri Aurobindo Society in the field of education.

With an objective to train and orient the teachers of the country on NEP 2020, Sri Aurobindo Society is organizing a series of webinars for different states/ districts. The special webinar for Kupwara district, Jammu & Kashmir (U.T) assisted the teachers in understanding the policy in detail.
The orientation/ training session on the National Education Policy 2020 was conducted by Mr. Vipin Maduriya, master trainer, Rupantar, Sri Aurobindo Society.
