Srinagar, Aug 24 (KB): Peoples Democratic Party president and PAGD Member Mehbooba Mufti on wednesday said that fighting elections separately will not have any impact on unity of PAGD parties.
National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah on wednesday presided a meeting of its Provincial committee in which National Conference hinted of fighting elections separately in upcoming assembly election, saying that NC was meted out unfair treatment by PAGD constituents, party demanded course correction by PAGD
PDP president Mehbooba Mufti in an exclusive chat with Kashmir Bulletin — KB said that, Fighting elections separately will not have any impact on our unity, she said.
Mehbooba said that, Unity of PAGD is for larger cause, which is restoration of Special status, she added.
However, she remained tight lipped on National conference statement where they sought course correction from PAGD constituents. (Kashmir Bulletin — KB)
