Fuel prices rise again, petrol crosses Rs 101 in this city

The price of petrol in Mumbai is Rs 92.86 per litre, in Kolkata, the rate is Rs 87.69 and in Chennai, it is Rs 88.82 per litre.

Petrol Price January 28 Update: Petrol diesel prices are touching new highs every day and the common man is suffering from this. Petrol prices in Delhi have crossed Rs 86, while in Mumbai, they are close to Rs 93. The prices in Delhi are breaking their own record every day.
On the other hand, diesel in Delhi will also cross Rs 77 in the next one or two days. In Kolkata, diesel has already crossed 80 rupees.
Apart from Delhi, petrol prices have increased in other metro cities as well. Today, the rate of petrol in Mumbai is Rs 92.86 per litre, in Kolkata, the rate is Rs 87.69 and in Chennai, it is Rs 88.82 per litre.
Petrol prices in 4 metro cities
Delhi: Rs 86.30
Mumbai: Rs 92.86
Kolkata: Rs 87.69
Chennai: Rs 88.82
Similarly, the rate of diesel has been increased to Rs 76.48 in Delhi, Rs 83.30 in Mumbai, Rs 80.03 in Kolkata and 81.71 per litre in Chennai.

Mumbai: Rs 83.30
Kolkata: Rs 80.08
Chennai: Rs 81.71
In Rajasthan’s Sriganganagar, petrol price has crossed Rs 101.

There has been a steady increase in the prices of petrol and diesel since January 6 this year. There is a lot of activity all over the world regarding the coronavirus, due to which there is a spurt in crude oil prices. This is affecting the prices of domestic petrol and diesel. Even in the coming days, there is little hope of getting relief.
Petrol costs Rs 12.59, diesel Rs 9.77, up from last year

So far this month, petrol has become expensive by Rs 2.59 per litre. On January 1, the price of petrol in Delhi was Rs 83.71 per litre, now it has been Rs 86.30 per litre. Similarly, diesel in Delhi has become expensive by Rs 2.61 per litre so far in January. On January 1, the rate of diesel in Delhi was Rs 73.87 per litre, while today the rate is Rs 76.48 per litre.
