GVEI dominates 24th district Sqay championship 2023

Srinagar, Dec 07: The students of Green Valley Educational Institute (GVEI) showcased their prowess at the 24th District Srinagar Sqay Championship 2023, held at the Ellahi Bagh indoor sports stadium.
The championship was organised by the District Srinagar Sqay Association and witnessed an impressive gathering of talented athletes competing for the glory.

Dr. Baba Firdous, Chief of Kashmir Seva Sangh was the Chief Guest at the occasion while Sheikh Saiqa Farooq, owner of Apple Montessori Ellahi Bagh was the guest of honour.

On the inaugural day, GVEI Boys set the tone for the championship by clinching an outstanding total of five Gold and three Silver medals.
The boys’ exceptional performance echoed through the Ellahi Bagh indoor sports stadium, capturing the attention of the audience and fellow competitors alike.
The second day of the championship witnessed the GVEI girls stealing the spotlight as they delivered a stellar performance, securing an impressive haul of 12 Gold and two Silver medals.

Chairman GVEI Muhammad Yousuf Wani in a statement said that the outstanding performance of the students showcased the sporting excellence.

He also said the championship served as a platform for the students and fostered a sense of camaraderie among participants.
