Srinagar, 20 Dec (KB): Scores of residents including women of Bemina area of Srinagar took to streets on Monday to stage a protest against the PDD Department due to the non availability of power supply in area.

People staged a protest and raised slogans against PDD Department, the protest was lead by women, among the women was, DDC candidate Peerzada Mohammad Shafi Shah urf Babbar Sher present protesting on the spot.

People while talking to Kashmir Bulletin–(KB), said that we, the resident of Shamas Abad sector 3 area of bemina Srinagar, want yo ask the authorities that if electricity is present in every sector of Bemina, why are we suffering alone? We have Covid 19 patients on oxygen concentrator in our home’s, if anything will happen to them who is answerable.

“Our children can’t study properly, their exams are also coming where shall we go”, the angry resisdent asked.

Now, we request the higher authorities to take necessary steps and solve our problem at the earliest, otherwise we will again come on roads and block the traffic .–(Kashmir Bulletin–KB)
