In a significant stride towards modernization, the Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education has introduced a digital system for the distribution of Registration Cards and Roll Number Slips/Admit cards. The shift, effective from the Annual Regular 2024 examinations and the ongoing academic session 2022-24, emphasizes the adoption of online portals in government and private affiliated schools within Jammu Division, including Leh.

The circular underscores the following benefits of the online portal system:

  1. Efficiency: Eliminating the need for physical distribution, the online portal system streamlines administrative processes, lightening the burden on schools.
  2. Accessibility: Students gain easy access to crucial documents from any location with an internet connection, promoting inclusivity and convenience.
  3. Timeliness: Instant availability ensures students are well-prepared and organized for examinations, contributing to a more effective learning environment.
  4. Environmental Impact: The move aligns with global efforts to reduce paper usage, showcasing a commitment to environmental sustainability.

To facilitate a smooth transition, a dedicated email address (computercellitssJd@gmail.com) has been provided for addressing queries or difficulties related to the download of these documents. This direct communication channel aims to assist schools and students in adapting to the new system.

The Jammu & Kashmir Board’s decision reflects a forward-thinking approach, embracing technological advancements in education. As schools and students adapt to this digital transition, the anticipated benefits in efficiency, accessibility, and environmental responsibility are poised to enhance the overall educational experience in the region.
