Srinagar, Dec 30 (KSA): The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the cut off marks for the written exam conducted for recruitment of 1200 Sub-Inspectors in the UT’s police department.
According to an official notification, the cut off mark for the open merit category is 107.91 out of a total of 200 marks. Cut offs for other reserved categories are – ALC 101.28, RBA 100.16, PSP 97.86, OSC 97.45, SC 95.08, EWS 89.93 and ST 88.
The competitively high cut offs suggest a high degree of competition in the exam taken by thousands of aspirants vying for the Sub-Inspector positions.
Candidates who have scored above the cut off marks for their respective categories will now proceed to the next stages of the selection process including physical standard test, physical endurance test and document verification.
The final selection list is expected to be released after completion of all selection processes subject to medical fitness and other criteria. The Sub-Inspector positions are highly coveted government jobs in the UT.–(Kashmir Student Alerts)
