Prince William’s wife Kate Middleton paid a surprise visit to The Baby Bank in Windsor, as part of her ongoing work on early childhood welfare. The Princess of Wales was seen helping the staff sort and fold baby clothes that are to be donated to families in need.
Looking at the clothes, Kate Middleton said that time passes quickly where her three children are concerned. “It only feels like yesterday that they were this tiny. They do grow so quickly,” she said. The princess then made a passing statement about whether she wants to have a fourth child or not.
The organization’s CEO Rebecca Mistry told Kate Middleton that seeing clothes this tiny often makes people feel “broody”.
“Whereas I look at them and think I don’t want to go through that again”, Rebecca Mistry said. To this, Kate Middleton laughed and responded, “I’ve been there and done that.”
Her quip contradicted her earlier comments on the wish to have a fourth kid as Kate Middleton has said earlier that she might have wanted to have a baby. In Denmark in February last year, royal reporter Rebecca English tweeted, “On one engagement today the Duchess of Cambridge confessed she still gets very broody.”
