Medical camp provides need fulfillment medical services on Eid-e-Milad ﷺ
Srinagar, Sep 17 (KB): Various local welfare trusts today held medical camps in Dargah Hazratbal area of Srinagar on the eve of Eid-e-Milad ﷺ
These camps were sponsored by Wings Social Welfare Society, JK Yateem Trust, Private Diagnostic Centre J&K, JK Welfare Society Eidgah, and G R Beigh Memorial Trust.
It reached the deprived members of society in the free consultation, diagnostic tests, and medicines by organizing the camp at the Eidgah grounds.
The healthcare sector volunteers consumed their time volunteering their services to make sure the event was accessible yet efficient.
Speaking to news agency—Kashmir Bulletin (KB), one of the organizers of the camp, Dr Tahir said: “This event testifies to what can happen when a community organizes itself for healthcare objectives. It does truly show what can be done if a community comes together.”
And in addition to this, while providing health services, the camp also conceptualised health education sessions relating to preventive care and wellness, so essential for useful information for the benefit of health to one and all who attended.
Local citizen Imran Ahmed said, “This camp has been a boon. One feels good at seeing such support on this special day.”
The camp offered the basic necessities of health services and further fortification of the virtue of compassion and bonding that should be reflected during Eid-e-Milad.
Organizers promise such camps in the near future, too, where the spirit of gifting and togetherness of that festival will prevail.
