People suffer in absence of BMO G’bl, Tehsildar Tulmulla

Gandarbal, 02 Dec: The posts of the Block Medical Officer (BMO) Ganderbal Block and Tehsildar Tulmulla have been lying vacant since the retirement of the officers a few months ago, with the result that the people are suffering to get their grievances redressed.

“The chair of the Tehsildar Tulmulla is lying vacant for the last six months. People are experiencing immense difficulties in getting their issues resolved or in procuring documents, certificates, or the matters related to revenue, etc,” Shaukat Ahmed Butt, a local, told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

He said the work in dozens of medical centres across the district has been affected due to it.

Although the BMO Lar has been given an additional charge of Gandarbal Block, the work is not going on smoothly, said another official.

When contacted, a moderator of the health department, Dr Mushtaq Ahmed said the post of Block Medical Officer Ganderbal will be filled in two to three days— (KNO)
