Srinagar, August 12 (KB): At about 1515hrs, Miltants fired indiscriminately upon a police personnel near Padshahi Bagh area of Bijbehara in District Anantnag. In this militants crime incident, the said police personnel had received gunshot injuries and was immediately evacuated to hospital for the treatment to his injuries where his condition is stated to be stable.
Police spokesperson as per Kashmir Bulletin– (KB), said that senior officers reached at the militants crime spot along with reinforcement. The whole area was cordoned off and search in the area was going on.
Meanwhile, “earlier in Bandipora, during the intervening night of 11/12 August, at about 0015hrs militants had fired upon a labourer identified as Mohammad Amrez son of Mohammad Jalil resident of Madhepura Besarh Bihar at Soadnara Sumbal area of District Bandipora. In this militants incident, he had received critical gunshot injuries and was immediately evacuated to nearby hospital for the treatment of his injuries however, he succumbed to his injuries,” it reads.
Moreover, “Police have registered cases under relevant sections of law and investigation has been initiated. Officers continue to work to establish the full circumstances of these terror crimes,” it reads. (Kashmir Bulletin–KB)
