Pulwama 14 July (KB): Police on Thursday said they have recovered minor girl from Watkaloo area of central Kashmir’s Budgam. They further said the kidnapper has also been arrested, officials.
Police spokesperson as per Kashmir Bulletin–(KB), said that on 13th, July Police Station Kakapora received a written application from one person namely Ab Hameed Dar S/O Gh Mohd Dar R/O Naman Kakapora that her daughter (name withheld) age about 16 years has been kidnapped by Nadeem Nabi wagey S/o Gh Nabi wagey R/o Kandajan Budgam. In this regard case FIR No. 56/22 U/S 366A IPC was registered in PS Kakapora and investigation was set into motion.
“On this a special Police team was constituted to trace out the kidnapped girl. During the course of investigation, the Police team acting swiftly and raided various suspected locations. After strenuous efforts the Police Party traced out the abducted girl and recovered her from village Watkaloo Chrarisharief Budgam. The kidnapper has also been arrested”.
Moreover, after fulfilling all medico legal formalities, the abductee girl was handed over to her legal heirs. (Kashmir Bulletin–KB)
