PULWAMA POLICE FACILITATES PCPG MEETING AT POLICE POST NEWA

PULWAMA: 28 March: As a part of public outreach programme, Pulwama Police facilitated Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Police Post Newa. The meeting was chaired by SSP Pulwama Sh. Gh Jeelani Wani-JKPS accompanied by DySP Hqrs Pulwama, SHO PS Pulwama & DO Newa.
          In the meeting, the respectables and prominent citizens of village Newa and its adjacent areas participated. A warm welcome as a token of love was given to SSP Pulwama by the participants. During the meeting various issues pertaining to the society were thoroughly discussed with the participants. The participants raised various issues like electric line from Newa to Wanpora via main road instead of agricultural land, regular water supply in Newa and its adjacent areas. Local Youths of the area also demanded mat for cricket stadium. Listening to the grievances patiently SSP Pulwama resolved some issues on spot and assured them that their genuine grievances will be resolved on priority and every possible help will be provided to the people of the area and also he assured them that issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with concerned departments for their early redressal. While speaking SSP Pulwama thanked Public of the area for cooperation and their active participation. The Participants thanked SSP Pulwama for conducting such a meeting and building a bridge of trust between Police and Public and also The participants assured their full cooperation with Police in tackling social evils.
The meeting concluded with a positive note of thanks and appreciation to Pulwama Police for better Policing in the area from Public side.
