Srinagar, August 06 : Police on Friday said that they arrested three Drug Peddlers with 05 gram of heroine in Bemina area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
Bemina police received Specific inputs that three drug dealers are sitting in the snooker club and immediately we raided the place and arrested all three of them. One of whom was also the owner of a snooker club
“it is said snooker had become a hotbed of various immoral activities. It is said that many students, including boys and girls, used to go to the snooker point after passing out of college to indulge in drugs and other social vices”.
“As many as youth deaths in Bemina due to drugs are caused by three drug dealers. Because they used to give them drugs.”Police
The three drug peddlers identifies Tabish Ahmad Dar S/o: Mohd Siban Dar R/o: Alamdar Colony Bemina, Arsalan Zarger S/o: Mohd Ishfaq Zargar R/o: Iqbal Abad, Bemina & Mohd Areeb S/o: Sheikh Mukhtar R/O : Nudresh Colony, Bemina
Cases under NDPS Act registered in Police Station Bemina and investigation set in motion, official said.
General People of the area hailed the efforts of Srinagar Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship,reads the statement.
