- ASI (para Med): 10+2 with Science Degree or Diploma from a recognized university
- ASI (Steno): 10+2 from a recognized university
- Head Constable (HC): Matriculation or Equivalent from a recognized university
- Constable (Tradesman): Matriculation or Equivalent from a recognized university
Age Limit
- Assistant Commandant (Veterinary): 23 – 25 years
- Sub Inspector (Tech) : 21 – 30 years
- ASI (Paramedical Staff) : 20 – 30 years

The selection process for SSB Constable Recruitment includes a written exam, physical test, and document verification, medical exam.
Salary Details
- Assistant Commandant (Veterinary): Level – 10 Rs.56,100 – 1,77,500/-
- Sub Inspector (Tech) : Level – 6 Rs.35,400 – Rs.1,12,400/-
- ASI (Paramedical Staff) : Level – 5 Rs.29,200 – Rs.92,300/-
- ASI (Steno) : Level – 5 Rs.29,200 – Rs.92,300/-
- Head Constable (HC) : Level – 4 Rs.25,500 – 81,100/-
- Constable (Tradesman) : Level – 3 Rs.21,700 – 69,100/-
SSB Recruitment 2023 Application Fee
SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, and female candidates are exempted from payment of examination fees. All the other category Candidates will require to pay an examination fee of Rs 100.
