Youth Killed, Another Injured After Mortar Shell Goes Off In Samba: Police

Jammu, December 22(GNS) A youth was killed, while another was injured on Friday after a mortar shell exploded in Samba district.

In a handout to GNS, the police said that one youth namely Pawan Singh (19) son of Kuldeep Singh resident of village Chandli died and another youth Roshan Singh ( 29) son of Kaka Singh resident of village Chandli sustained splinter injuries when Mortar shell they were reportedly fiddling with exploded in the forest area of village Chandli in the J/D of PP Goran ,PS Samba today around 5:00 p.m. Injured referred to GMC Jammu.

Meanwhile a case has been registered in this regard and investigation has been taken up.(GNS)
