Indian Army Recruitment 2023: The Integrated Head Quarter (IHQ), Ministry of Defence, Government of India has sought Online Applications from Un-Married Male Eligible for Engineering Graduates for the 138th Technical Graduate Course (TGC-138) commencing in January 2024 in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun for Permanent Commission in the Indian Army through the Indian Army Recruitment 2023 Official Notification. Among Young Candidates Eligible for 138th Technical Graduate Course with Interest in the TGC-138 carrying Monthly Stipend to Gentleman Cadets during the Entire Duration of Training in Service Academy, i.e., during the Training Period in the Indian Military Academy shall be Rs. 56100 Per Month*(Starting Pay in Level 10) may complete the Online Recruitment Application Latest by 17.05.2023.

Stipend to Gentleman Cadets during the Entire Duration of Training in Service Academy, i.e., during the Training Period in the Indian Military Academy shall be Rs. 56100 Per Month*(Starting Pay in Level 10).
Age Limits for Indian Army Recruitment 2023:
As per the Indian Army Recruitment 2023 Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Age Limit as on 01.01.2024 should be as explained hereunder:
Age Limit. Minimum 20 Years Maximum 27 Years (*Candidates born between 02.01.1997 and 01.01.2004, Both Dates Inclusive).
Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army Recruitment 2023:
According to the Indian Army Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement the Educational Qualification required is as explained hereunder:
Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree Course or are in the Final Year of Engineering Degree Course are Eligible to apply. The Candidates studying in the Final Year of the Engineering Degree Course should be able to submit Proof of passing Engineering Degree Examination with the Mark-Sheets of all Semesters/Years by 01.01.2024 and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the Date of commencement of Training in the Indian Military Academy (IMA).
Such Candidates will be inducted on an Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the Cost of Training in the Indian Military Academy (IMA) as notified from time to time as well as Stipend and Pay & Allowances paid, in case they fail to produce the requisite Degree Certificate.
Selection Criteria for Indian Army Recruitment 2023:
The Final Allocation of Arms/Services will be carried through prior to passing-out of the Gentleman Cadets from the Indian Military Academy (IMA) and will remain at the Sole Discretion of the Integrated Head Quarter of the Ministry of Defence (Army) keeping in view the existing Policy.
The Candidate must/should not have any Objection in the event of his Final Selection on Allotment of any Arms/Service in the interest of the Organisation.
Type of Commissions:
I) Grant of Commission: Selected Candidates will be granted Short Service Commission (SSC) On Probation in the Rank of Lieutenant from the Date of Commencement of the Course or the Date of Reporting in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, whichever is Later and will be entitled to Full Pay and Allowances admissible to Lieutenant during Training Period. The Pay and Allowances will be paid post-Successful completion of Training.
II) Permanent Commission: On successful completion of Training Cadets will be granted Permanent Commission (PC) in the Indian Army in the Rank of Lieutenant.
III) Ante-Date Seniority: One Year Ante Date Seniority from the Date of Commission will be granted to Engineering Graduates of TGC Entry in the Rank of Lieutenant.
Recommended candidates of TGC-138th Course (January 2024), whose Merit is not within the number of Allotted Vacancies of respective Engineering Streams, may be offered to join the Short Service Commission (Technical) Course (April 2024), subject to meeting all other Eligibility Conditions.
