Department of Commerce Recruitment 2023: The Department of Commerce (DoC) Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), Government of India has invited Applications from Retired Central Government Officers Eligible for the (PS Level) Consultant Posts for Contractual Engagement vide the Department of Commerce Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Dated 04.05.2023. According to the Department of Commerce Recruitment 2023 Official Vacancy Notice, Willing and Eligible Personnel retired as Personal Secretary (PS)/Principal Private Secretary (PPS) may apply in the Prescribed Application Proforma for Department of Commerce PS Level Consultants.
According to the Department of Commerce Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, there are 08 Vacancies to be filled up with Suitable Retired Central Government Officers to be engaged as PS Level Consultants on a Contractual Basis with Initially 01 Year and further Extendable up to 05 Years. The Eligible Persons with Interest in the Department of Commerce PS Level Consultants on Contractual Basis may submit duly completed Applications through E-Mail well ahead of the Last Date 17.05.2023.

Post: Consultants (PS Level)
Vacancy: 08 Nos.
Posting Organization: Department of Commerce, New Delhi
Engagement Terms: Contractual Appointment shall be initially for 01 Year, which may be extended or curtained as per the Requirement and Satisfactory Performance of the Consultant. The Term of Appointment shall not be extended beyond 05 Years after Superannuation.
Monthly Salary under Department of Commerce Recruitment 2023:
According to the Department of Commerce Recruitment 2023, the Ex-Officials engaged as Consultants (PS Level) shall be paid a Consolidated Monthly Amount calculated as Last Pay Drawn (Basic Pay) Minus Basic Pension Plus Transport Allowance (Applicable at Retirement) Retired Government Servant engaged as Consultant shall continue to draw Pension and Dearness Relief on Pension during the Contractual Engagement Tenure as Consultant. The Appointed Consultant’s Engagement shall not be considered as a case of Re-employment.

Eligibility for Department of Commerce Recruitment 2023:
Based on the Department of Commerce Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Willing and Eligible Officers having retired from Personal Secretary (PS)/Principal Private Secretary (PPS) from the Central Government Ministries/Departments should apply in the Prescribed Application Format.
Desirable Proficiency:
i) The Applicant should have Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills with Knowledge of Stenography (preferably in English) and should be well-conversant with Noting/Drafting.
ii) The Applicant should have a fair knowledge of Computer Applications; viz., MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point.
Selection under Department of Commerce Recruitment 2023:
Based on the Department of Commerce Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Selection on to PS Level Consultant Posts shall be carried through by Interviews. Only Shortlisted Candidates will be called in for participating in Interviews. The Terms and Conditions for Engagement of the Selected Consultants; including Remuneration, Eligibility, etc., shall be regulated by the Department of Expenditure Office Memorandum No. 3-25/2020-E-IIIA Dated 9th December 2020 explained in this Department of Commerce Recruitment 2023 Notification issued
