Srinagar, Oct 08 (KB): Omar Abdullah, Vice President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) and party candidate from Ganderbal and Budgam, this morning expressed confidence in his party’s chances in the ongoing elections.
Speaking to the media, as per the news agency—Kashmir Bulletin (KB), Omar said, we are hopeful that we will win. The decision made by the voters of J&K will be clear by this afternoon.
He also called for transparency in the electoral process, urging that no underhanded tactics be used if the mandate goes against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). “There should be transparency. If the people’s mandate is against BJP, they shouldn’t pull off any tricks,” Omar said.
