Job Location:

- Assistant Director (Systems): Level 10 (Pre-revised Pay Band-3, Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400)
Tenure of Appointment:
The selected candidates will be appointed on a deputation basis for a period of 2 to 4 years, depending on the position. The tenure may be extended with the approval of the Competent Authority based on administrative requirements.
Maximum Age Limit:

Eligibility Criteria for Income Tax Recruitment 2025
To be eligible for these positions, candidates must meet the following requirements:
1. Director (Systems):
- Officers from Central/State Government, Union Territories, PSUs, Research Institutes, Universities, or Autonomous/Semi-Government Organizations.
- Should hold an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent department OR
- Should have at least 2 years of service in Level 13 Pay Matrix or equivalent.
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Application, Computer Science, or Information Technology from a recognized university OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology (Computer Science, IT, or related field) from a recognized university.
- Experience: 12 years of post-qualification experience in programming, information systems, or related fields.
2. Additional Director (Systems):
- Officers from Central/State Government, Union Territories, PSUs, Research Institutes, Universities, or Autonomous/Semi-Government Organizations.
- Should hold an analogous post on a regular basis OR
- Should have at least 5 years of service in Level 12 Pay Matrix (Rs. 78,800 – 2,09,200) or equivalent.
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Application, or IT OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology (Computer Science, IT, or related field).
- Experience: 10 years of post-qualification experience in programming, information systems, or related fields.
3. Assistant Director (Systems):
- Officers from the Central Government holding:
- An analogous post on a regular basis OR
- At least 2 years of regular service in posts in the scale of Rs. 7,500 – 12,000 (5th CPC) or equivalent OR
- At least 5 years of regular service in posts in the scale of Rs. 6,500 – 10,500 (5th CPC) or equivalent OR
- At least 8 years of regular service in posts in the scale of Rs. 5,500 – 9,000 (5th CPC) or equivalent.
- Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Application, Computer Science, or M.Tech (specialization in Computer Application) OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology (Computer Science, IT, or related field).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic data processing or programming.
