Result of Jammu & Kashmir Prosecuting Officer (G) Examination, 2021-deployment of candidates for Medical Examination thereof.

Whereas, the J&K Home Department, vide Communication No. Home/GB Misc/2019-Part-III dated: 02.11.2020, referred 70 posts of Prosecuting Officers to the J&K Public Service Commission for being filled up through the Competitive Examination; and, Whereas, these posts were advertised by the Commission vide Notification No. 01 PSC(DR-P) of 2021 dated:24.02.2021; and, Whereas, Prosecuting Officer (G) (Preliminary] Examination-2021 was conducted on 25.08.2021 in which 2725 candidates appeared in full in the Examination; and, Whereas, as per the criteria fixed by the Commission, a total of 920 candidates were declared to have qualified for the mains examination vide Notification No.

PSC/Exam/2021/51 dated:09.09.2021; and, Whereas, J&K Prosecuting Officer (G) (Mains) Examination-2021 was conducted from 14.02.2022 to 24.02.2022: and,
Whereas, as per the criteria fixed by the Commission, 200 candidates were declared to have qualified for interview vide Notification No. PSC/Exam/2022/26 dated: 14.09.2022; and, Whereas, four candidates were also called for interview on the basis of orders of Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal; and, Whereas, the Personality test (interview) of these candidates was conducted w.ef 28.09.2022 to 13.10.2022 at JKPSC Office Solina, Srinagar; and, Whereas, the Commission in its meeting held on 19.10.2022, decided to declare the result of all the candidates who appeared in the interview and also to notify their aggregate marks while publishing a list of candidates to be summoned for Medical Examination in accordance with the relevant rules.
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the provisions contained in S.0.41 dated: 08.02.2021. J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examinations) Rules 2005 and J&K Reservation Rules, 2005 (SRO 294):
i) The result of candidates, who appeared in the personality test (interview) of J&K Prosecuting Officer (G) Examination-2021, is hereby notified as per Annexure-I to this notification.
ii) Consequent upon (1) above, 70 candidates as per Annexure-II of this notification, on the basis of their aggregate merit in the written examination and Page 1 of 9 personality test (interview), have qualified for Medical Examination and are directed to report to the respective Medical Boards constituted or to be constituted in Government Medical College Jammu & Srinagar for conduct of their Medical Examination as per proforma, in accordance with rules on the subject. The candidates recommended for medical examination will have to pay a fee as prescribed, before Medical check-up.
Note:
1. Mere calling a candidate for Medical Examination shall not confer any right on him/her to be recommended for selection.
2. Detailed marks cards shall be available on the website of the Commission after completion of the examination process and after forwarding the select list to the Government for making appointments.
3. The lists notified as Annexure-I & II to this notification are provisional and subject to the outcome of the writ petition(s), if any, pending before any Competent Court of jurisdiction.
