Three terrorists killed in north Kashmir’s Baramulla encounter
Srinagar, Sep 14 (KB): Security forces killed three terrorists during an encounter in the Chak Tappar area of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
An official said that during a joint operation starting late last night, all the trapped terrorists were neutralized.
The terrorists had taken shelter in the school building, he said.
Earlier, The operation was initiated as per the intelligence reports on the presence of some terrorists in Chak Tappar.
A joint team of the Indian Army’s 29 Rashtriya Rifles, Central Reserve Police Force, and Jammu and Kashmir Police laid a cordon to ensure that none of the terrorists managed to get away.
The security forces used precision to ensure no collateral damage was caused by their actions in the operation.
Search operations still continue as the security forces are combing the areas to make sure that no terrorists is hidden in the vicinity.— (KB)
