50-year-old man’s body recovered from Jehlum, in Sgr

Srinagar, Aug 05 (KB): A male dead body was recovered from River Jehlum near Pantha Chowk area of Srinagar, officials said here.
An official told the Kashmir Bulletin (KB) that the body of an elderly man was retrieved from Jehlum near Pantha Chowk on Monday.

He added that the body was later identified as Tariq Ahmad Sheikh (50) resident of Pampore, and has been sent to the hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Moreover, police have taken up the investigation.— (KB)
